Built in 1937, the Hall of Waters is a National Historic Landmark and the site where the area’s first spring water was discovered in 1880. Featuring a striking Art Deco design and constructed of reinforced cast-in-place concrete, the building suffered significant corrosion due to moisture intrusion over time.
Listed as one of America’s 11 Most Endangered Historic Places by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Hall of Waters posed a safety risk. In response, the City of Siloam Springs initiated restoration efforts. PULLMAN strengthened the foundation by enlarging the basement columns to improve their load-bearing capacity. The team also performed extensive concrete and masonry repairs.
PULLMAN’s expertise in historic preservation ensured the building’s historical integrity was maintained by matching materials and protecting original elements. With the completion of the restoration, the Hall of Waters will continue to be a treasured landmark for generations to come.
